The view is fantastic. People all over the place, up and down... kids, many kids around, many places to eat, good for an sundown drink. Walking distance from Miraflores main Square... nice walk.

Good place to start a walk along the Miraflores Clifftops for beautiful views of the ocean and the parasailers overhead.

Larcomar is a basic mall, that's about it, but it renders the ease of looking to the ocean and taking pictures from the safety of a restaurant or cafe. If the weather conditions are right you'll see the paragliders fly by which I found very entertaining.

Larcomar is a safe, relaxing and fun place to go in Lima. If you are staying near by then you should spend time here. If you are looking for local food try Mangos. We saw movies, they were in English and subtitled in spanish. Had burgers at Bembos, which according to Pervians has the mejor burgers on the planet. Starboucks (the one thing my husband misses when we travel is american coffee). And ate at a couple of really good restaurants.

Lots of shops, lots of restaurants. Great place to sit in a ocean front restaurant and view the coast. Fixed price shops for those who are tired of haggling. Cinemas for those who what a little bit of an escape.

Unusual setting for a shopping centre and restaurants/cafes, built into the rock on the seashore. Can watch surfers from your dinner table.

LarcoMar is a shpping center with a lot of stores you'd find in the US. What I liked was that it had decent public restrooms, many choices for restaurants, and a movie theater that shows some english movies, in case you need an airconditioned escape from the afternoon heat. Nothing special here except the beautiful views (which can be had commerce-free all along the cliff-top). If you're feeling a little overwhelmed by the Lima-ness of Lima, this mall will give you a little break. There is a nice (but expensive) store selling Peruvian handicrafts.
