After traveling to Chile two years ago with Knowmad Adventures there was no question as to who was going to help plan my trip to Peru! Thank you so much to Knowmad Adventures for assisting us in our recently travels to Peru. Just to name a few, the Amazon, Cusco, Sacred Valley and the Inca Trail were some of the... More

This was one of the most amazing experiences EVER! 15 of us booked through Enigma and had the time of our life. Our guides Edgard and Saul lead us a little differently than most groups. We felt like we had the trail to ourselves almost the entire time until we hit Machupiccu! I would highly recommend booking with Enigma and... More

I just returned from the Inca Trail and enjoyed the experience so much I thought I would write a few things on the trip. I went with the tour company, Peru Treks and they did a fantastic job. From Freddie our guide, our Cook, the porters, the experience was amazing and a spiritual and cultural one also. Some of the... More

If you have been told that you are unable to do the Inca Trail because it is fully booked please do not book the Lares Trek...It is NOT and alternative to the Inca Trail. Travel agents will tell you this to sell you the tour...watch out for STA and GAP Adventures. The Lares Trek has lots of fake reviews written... More

Although you see many other incan sites through the inca trail, you kind of have an idea of what it is that you have been killing yourself for. Doing the HB train, i could imagine how much more impressed i would have been seeing such a large scale incan site. It is Truly amazing. We did it through G adventures,... More

Hello, about 7 years ago we went for the first time to peru and we did the incatrail trekking from cusco. We did like it so much, the amazing 4 days trekking, that we did return this year 2012 to do the same again. We did the incatrail with southamericaplanet travelagent in cusco www.southamericaplanet.com The trekking was amazing, still the... More

My wife and I recently completed the 4 day/3 night hike. It was just a sublime experience. If you want to experience the cultural, history, a bit of spirituality, awe of what the Inca accomplished in a short time, while you are physically challenged in just a gorgeous part of the world-- this is for you. It is hard not to... More

completed the classic 4D/3N Inca trail and it was a fantastic experience. We travelled with llama path who I can highly recommend, plenty of food, brilliant knowledge and passion from the guides and awe inspiring levels of fitness from the porters. It can be tough but it thoroughly rewarding, I would urge you to arrive at Machu Picchu on foot... More

Quechuas Expeditions exceeded our expectations on every level. After a year-long trip around the world, they are the best tour operator we have used, you can stop your research here – you will not be disappointed! We had hikers and non-hikers in our group and the team at Quechuas worked with us so the non-hikers could meet up with the... More
