No picture or documentary can describe the feeling when you stand in Machu Picchu and marvel at the city built by the Incas. It is a lot larger than you might think and has plenty to see. Mountains surround you and make for one of the most beautiful sights you will ever lay eyes on. This trip was worth every... More

We have just come back a few days ago from a 21 day South America Circle trip which we organised through Chimu Adventures. The holiday was fantastic and so was the organisation of this company. Machu Picchu was the pinnacle of the trip - we arranged our trip to have an extra day there so we could re visit the... More

Loving to travel and having a bucket list I am checking off I searched for a travel agency in Peru to help me fulfill this dream. Machu Picchu did not disappoint but our trip was made so much better by the Coca Travel agency in Peru. Peru is doing the right things to make it a very popular tourist destination... More

Every way you look is a photo opportunity. The Incas were truly brilliant.

We had an amazing vacation organized with South Adventure Peru tours. We visited so many sites such as the Ballestas Islands where we observed sea lions, pelicans, penguins, etc; the Nazca lines where we took an aerial tour to view the lines, Colca Canyon, Condor's Cross, the Uros Islands, the city of Cusco and of course the highlight of the... What's not to like? What's amazing is that this was all created (so we were told) in 95 years!

My wife and I went on our anniversary trip to Peru in April of 2012. It was well worth it. The views were beyond anything I could have imagined. So beautiful! We even took the trip around the back of the mountain to the Inca bridge. Beware: you have to sign in and out of that trail because you can... More

After the solitude of the Lares Valley trek, the crowds at Machu Pichu were a bit disconcerting. In fact, I think I would have been more satisfied in looking a glossy photo album of the site! The museum just across the river from Aquas Calientes was superb, if empty.
