Went on the trip at the beginning of June to Natadola Beach. On the way stopped at a local village and was shown around. We then stopped at a cave used by the villagers to get away from the cyclones. On 21-6-07 we took a trip to Natadola, on the 'Natadola Beach Bash", leaving from the depot by the "Fijian". On the trip to Natadola we had about a 30 minute delay,owing to a de-railment of a sugar cane train. At Natadola promised entertainers did not arrive. We wanted to leave the resort and visit Sigatoka township for a look around for a while. Whilst this is only a short trip by taxi or bus, the Coral Coast railway trip was a delight. A very pleasant and relaxing journey. A great way to see more of the island and the staff were wonderful. more
