This beach should be controlled and cleaned - what a waste when its dirty and people throw rubbish like its no ones business

the views were breathtaking. only thing is its very open to the wind but who cares with the exceptional views. so peaceful.
The beach is a very pleasant area, however the large hotel and its infrastructure take away the natural ambience, A real shame, the beach is still worth a visit
Very lovely sandy beach with cool relaxing water for a refreshing dip and swim after time in the sun
Perfect for swimming, walking, snorkeling......just great
We did a day trip to Natadola. It's lovely to see but I don't think you'd want to do it a second time. The water can be a bit rough but it is definitely a beautiful beach. There is also horse riding along the beach if that appeals.
The locals always come up to you and offer horse rides. If you dont want one just say no and they will leave you alone - not like in India or Gambia where they follow you
As I'd mentioned in another review, the railway was brilliant, though the beach was a bit of a let down given the rave reviews about it.
There was a lot of debris (a lot!) washed up on to the shore, lots of seaweed in the swimming area and the intercontinental hotel really lets the beach down.
Definitely visit it as...

Crystal clear water. soft powdery sand. You dont need to take a boat to the island.
Great beach for swimming. In fact, I was told that this is probably the best beach on the Coral coast for swimming. We loved it, swam, rode horses and then had a great lunch at Yatule right off the beach.
