to small statue for a famous hero, which saved the Christianity from Ottomans, but unfortunately did not saved his country being converted to Islamism.

The square where this statue stands is being redeveloped in a *very* big way. Armies of workers but no signs of completion.

Skanberg castle up the road in the mountain town of Kruja is well worth the trip. There a a couple of buses each day, they do not leave from the lot at the end of Zogu Pare but leave from another lot 600 meters north via the street market. It is more convienence to catch a mini bus-van to Kruja....
