What a beautiful area that we stumbled across! I wanted to visit a hotel in Ilidza, we then took a pony and trap ride (one way) down a long lane and got off to walk back ... only we then realised what a beautiful area we were in and could have spent many hours wandering around the river and parks.... This place is one of the most famous in and around Sarajevo, but very poor facilities, very few toilets, no souvenir shops, garbage in places, very few benches if you don't want to sit in the restaurant. Otherwise, nice place, fresh air, fresh water.

This is one of the best places around Sarajevo to recharge your batteries. Beautiful park with streams of river Bosna coming from the spring. Taxi from city center is aprox 7,5 EUR to this place.

Green, green, green, everywhere you look. Loved the ride in the ´´Fijaker´´.

It is probably much nicer when everything is green,we were in winter, but without snow, nothing special, would not recommend.

The most beautiful place in Sarajevo! Park with paths and river, very clean, with ducks and swans, many people walking and enjoying themselves. Also, you can have coffee there, or grab a simple snack. If you enjoy nature, this is a must see!

This is a beautiful park which is littered with paths and rivers. It was however about 40km (£20) return in a taxi from the city centre and didn't have a huge amount to do there apart from a stoll and a drink. Nice to see, but not hugely recommended

Every time I come to Sarajevo I take a stroll to the park.
