It's a wonderfull idea to rebuilt a tunnel in remembrance of the siege of Sarajevo. Still. there'e a lot more to do about this memorial center. hopefully it will be.

The taxi drive is very long. Its far form the city and you need your taxi to wait for you as its off the main road. We were shown a 20 minute movie (so called documentary) with no subtitles and apparently, no script, just rambling images. The short piece of tunnel you actually walk through (about 30 yards) is illustrative...

Amazing place - set up and run by the family involved in building the tunnel it gives a real insight into the hardships the people of Sarajevo endured for almost 4 years from 92-95. This is not a glitzy tourist attraction it is a real basic museum, shamefully not supported by any government resources, but well worth a visit. Video...

This is well worth a visit - we paid 60 KM (approx 30 Euros) for a private tour from the Old Town (driving around the sights of Sarajevo on the way) to the tunnel. Our guide was superb both in his knowledge and use of the English language. One of our most expensive trips (still darn good value) but well...

Agree with everyone that this is a must. We participated in a guided tour organized by Sarajevo Discovery in Old Town on recomondation from the tourist office in Old Town. Thouh the weather was not the best it was well worth the money. A truly heartgripping story from the siege of Sarajevo
excellent view, nearer or rather in the city.... good and nice place, lovely panorama, worth, intresting challenging and a way to make the war real for those lucky enough not to have been near it.A great tour , genuinely fascinating, real feel. I definately think it's worth a visit to learn more about the history of the war and struggles...

A great tour which we did as part of the "tales of misfortune tour" of Sarajevo. The tunnel was hugely interesting and the opportunity to walk through parts of it was genuinely fascinating. The backdrop of commentary gave a real feel for the background to the war
interesting, challenging and a way to make the war real for those lucky enough not to have been near it.
This is a very interesting small museum very close the the airport. You can walk through a few metres of the tunnel. When you enter there is a short film showing the conditions in the tunnel during the war.
I definately think it's worth a visit to learn more about the history of the war and struggles of this beautiful...
