We had a fabulous hike with Ogi - Boyana waterfall a lake - a lovely day out of Sofia - we loved the chocolate as well.

Few are the capitals that posses such a natural advantage. We met our guide Slav at the National theatre, and took a super cheap taxi to Boyana Church (although we chose not to go in). The trek to Vitosha went through mountain forests and waterfalls. Very recommendable if you go for few days to Sofia.

This was a great trip which only had minimal overlaps with the Free Sofia walking tours, so it's worth taking the opportunity to do both. It showed a lot of areas I'd not seen before and include a nice break from the city. Would have loved to do the hike afterwards but sadly had to go and do job applications... More

Having recently discovered the route and although I frequent it, the exact route of the Sofia Green Tour opened my eyes to great new trails and I discovered some awesome attractions I never knew existed! Look out for the fantastic climbing facilities in Kokolandia!! Awesome fun for kids (and adults) alike!
