Didn't stay for very long, but enjoyed the view. Not many people in this area, unlike Trg Ban Jelacic.
Though the pictures show how colorful St. Mark's Church is, in person the colored tiles of the roof are even more striking. It is on the pinnacle of the hill of the upper town and surrounded by interesting sights.
It's a beautiful church on the outside with the classic tiled roof. But the inside is worth seeing as well. It's also located in a great area of Zagreb.
Fully preserved part of the city dominated by old
The most recognizable symbol of Zagreb This building is one of the most important historical buildings in Zagreb. I was particularly impressive roof
a spectacular view, nice mosaic with red, blue and white colors, nice square
Just stand and look at this, it's amazing. Worth the trip up to the old town.
Nice to stop to see the church and the square in front of it.
Unfortunately St. Mark's was not open when we passed and we were unable to find anyway of looking in. The roof however can be seen and offers a few minutes admiration for the craftworkers who created it.
