In complete contrast to the other reviews so far we thought this was a cracking pub. We too visited specifically because it brews it's own beer and we weren't disappointed. The beers available were great quality and the waiters looked genuinely pleased that we enjoyed them. Service was friendly and fast, with them helping us to translate the Romanian menu...

Their website beer list includes a red ale and a stout. I was excited to visit here because I was growing tired of the same old lagers. Both of the beers I wanted were on the menu, but they didn't have either one of them. I had one of the other beers made on site and left. Food and drinks...

I just arrived to Bucharest for business and a friend of mine, romanian guy took me to Berestroika. Good beer.....but i loved the food, great food.......i drink wisky i am not a beer fan but the "home made" beer taste is different from anything else i have ever tasted before.....Nice music, discret.....i didn't pay but the prices wasn't so high.

We were really looking forward to our visit, because the brew their own beer. However it was really disappointing. The prices were very high and the portions very small. Also the service was not friendly. I would never go there again !
