Great walking tour, hope it will spread in more countries. The guide had a fantastic knowledge , and loves his city and its history ! I agree with all that has been said in the previous comment, includes that I felt he deserved more than most tours that ask for a fee upfront. I already suggest it to my friends... More

Our first time on a free walking tour, but will definitely give it a go elsewhere. The guide had a fantastic knowledge and was well able to answer questions. Particularly when answering more subjective questions, he didn't shy from giving his own opinion, but would highlight alternative views as well. Felt he deserved more than most tours that ask for... My daughter and I visited Bucharest and walked around some of the city on our own. We took the guided tour later and saw the same sights but learned so much about the history of the city and the significance of the places and buildings. This tour is a must-do for Bucharest to get a feel of the city and... More

We visited Bucharest with a group of 38 students so we put both Andre and Stefan to work. The students where very pleased with the knowledge level and the good mix of photo's, stories and facts of Bucharest. We did the tour throught the old city center where both groups got a good feeling of how life was during the... More

This walking tour is a must do for getting a good overview of some the important sites in the city. Our guide was patient and answered all out questions. He let us hang out at some sites a tad bit longer and we ended the tour almost 2 and 1/2 hours later! Although its free its good to tip the... More

The Guided Bucharest Free Walking Tour is a must-do when in Bucharest! I showed up right after a major rain-storm and the tour went on, even though I was the only person there! Stefan is incredibly knowledgeable about the city's history and even extended the tour for me to show me different areas that were not included in the original... More

Our guide Andre was excellent! The tour lasted a couple of hours and took in loads of sights - made even better by the amount of information that we were told. Find these types of tours really interesting and the best way to see a city through a local's eyes if you don't have a lot of time. Only annoying... More

The tour lasts about 2 and a half hours and gives extensive information on the city of Bucharest. The guide not only tells about landmarks but also on the history, remote and recent, of the capital of Romania. The tour is free but ht guys who have set up the organization deserve a congruous tip. It starts every day at... More

Thanks to Andre our guide for a fun, informative, interesting and varied tour - even though it wax freezing cold the tour gave a real appreciation for the history of the city, the hardships under communism and Ceaucescu, and the beauty and culture which survived. A thoroughly excellent way to spend a few hours, I cannot recommend the tour highly... More

I was in Romania for several days and Bucharest was my last stop. The tour takes about 2 hours and a half and is one of the best ways to get to know Bucharest. Our guide Andrei was very knowledgeable and eager to give us as much information as he can about the main sights in the city, as well... More
