I was fortunate to visit this open air museum with my wonderful Romanian guide; he gave me a lot of background about the types of architecture that we were going to visit in different sections of Romania. This was an unusual and interesting place to find in downtown Bucharest. There are samples of all sorts of village life from all over Romania. Our favorite were houses built half underground and thatched with native reed. The houses stayed warmer and cooler that way. Definitely worth a visit.

A large park area of old buildings brought from the various regions of Romania. Well done and very interesting. Didn't have enough time.
