Number of little ranchitos on the beach where you can eat, water is polluted so swimming is NOT RECOMMENDED. I'm limited on fotos but one I have a couple at the new ranchito which is a nice facility with good food, prices & service. The pueblo of Vera Cruz west of the beaches is to be avoided, especially at night!

this is a beach for the local people with little specials to see. No particular reason to visit as tourist. Panama definitely has other places to see.

Since the beach is so close to the city, the water is supposed to be somewhat contaminated. However if you just need a quick beach daytrip close to the city to get some sun, then it will do. The seafood in veracruz restaurants is excellent, but be prepared for a looong wait if you go on a weekend.

have you ever seen beach to go far far away when there is a low tide? well, 15 min drive from Panama city you can do this. You will see a variety of sea creatures in the water pols left (hermit crabs, crabs, sand dollar, etc). it is a different experience. THe best spot is to do it close to...
