The bridge is best seen from a distance, el Casco Viejo offers a nice view of it. more

Overview: The Bridge of the Americas is an impressive bridge, but not one of the biggest I have seen. It is one of two large bridges over the canal waterway. While it is impressive to look at, it is less than impressive to visit. There is a small parking lot at one end where you can park and take pictures.... more

Bridge of the Americas looks like a lot of bridges in the Louisiana area like the I-510 Bridge that crosses MRGO Mississippi River Gulf Outlet in Chalmette and the I-10 Bridge that crosses the Mississippi River in Baton Rouge. more
