The view from Ancon Hill and along the Canal is impressive. The view while driving across the bridge for me was not as good as I was white-knuckling it all the way so I would not be distracted and drive off it (more of a testimony to my mid-life driving, rather than the design of the bridge). Not everyone can... More

It is avery high Bridge. I guess so the very large ships can pass under it. It was a little nerve racking driving over it but great view.

We drove over the bridge 2 times. It's quite a sight - very cool. No place to stop and take pictures. No visitor center.

Except that it link north and south America.. Crossed it by bus coming from Santa Catalina, but would never take a taxi from town just to see it. But on the other hand I'm not into construction and stuff, my dad would probably enjoy it more!

The bridge is nice to take a photograph but it's just a tall bridge. It looks somewhat like the old (and soon to be demolished) Port Mann bridge in Vancouver, Canada

Looks like a modern day bridge that uses one or two poles on one side to string the suspenders. Rises high enough to allow all the modern tall cruise ships and container ships to pass underneath thereby creating a great view of the locks which are but about a mile away. Have your camera ready as you drive over the... More

Somehow we always get lost trying to get on this bridge. It's so frustrating. Signs are not accurate or revealing. Once your find yourself on the right road it's OK. Good luck!

Such a beautiful sight as we sailed under the bridge at dawn, with a colourful sunrise.

Every time I see the Bridge of the Americas, I am happy about it. I saw it first when I was 20 on a ship on our way to Vietnam! I was impressed then by the site of the bridge, for some reason it looks bigger than it is but it is really high up. And now, I cross it... More
