We were on a tour with a group and had about 5 boats go at once. Nice trip to the island. Great to see the Canal ships and waterway. Along the way, the guide saw two howler monkeys and we got to view them. The guides were good, but earlier trips had fed them and the monkeys weren't too interested... more

We did the same thing....from Gamboa. The guide cut bananas into chunks. The monkeys hung from the limbs and took the banana chucks from our hands. We had a great time. more

I spent a few days in Panama city as a side vacation to a work trip. I decided to visit the Gamboa resort to take a tour on the aerial tram. But the tram was closed for maintenance that day so I chose to go to the monkey island instead. If I remember correctly the cost was about $20 or... more
