The cruises meet at the Gamboa lodge -- go to the activities desk on the left in the lobby. On our cruise, we saw howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, iguanas, cayman, and baby crocodiles (not to mention giant ships we passed in the Canal). We were on a tour with a group and had about 5 boats go at once. Nice trip to the island. Great to see the Canal ships and waterway. Along the way, the guide saw two howler monkeys and we got to view them. The guides were good, but earlier trips had fed them and the monkeys weren't too interested... more

We did the same thing....from Gamboa. The guide cut bananas into chunks. The monkeys hung from the limbs and took the banana chucks from our hands. We had a great time. more
