My wife and I recently spent three days at Canopy Tower and we were delighted. It is small and we were there with only six other people and we all had a good time. Birding is great and staff very friendly and knowledgable, but accomodations are relatively spartan at a very high price place (about $200 per person per night during high season). And even at these rates, they charge extra for day trips. IMO this is mainly a splurge for cost-no-object birders. more
