We have a zoo in our own town and we LOVE this one. The boys love the train ride, feeding the fish, the Louisianna aquarium exhibit, the Louisiana otter and alligator exhibits. This is a well-landscaped zoo with active animals. A nice playground. We just love visiting this zoo. more

We were able to get very close to the tigers. They are gorgeous. Because it was a cool, sunny October day all the animals were very active. Admission was $3 for adults and $2 for children....good price. more

For the size of the city this wasn't bad. They had a good variety of animals and they were well taken care of. Like most small zoos there was a place where my kids could get some hands on with the animals.
