I love Emily Dickinson and was excited about visiting her house. I dragged along my 14 year old daughter, who isn't much of a poetry buff but was a good sport about going on the 90 minute tour. Our guide was very enthusiastic but rambled a great deal in telling the story of Emily's life. She'd just get to an... more

Emily Dickinson was a great American poet and we took the 90 minute tour (there is also a 40 minute tour) which covered her life, poetry and very interesting tours of her home and her brother's home nearby. This very informative tour is a must of anyone interested learning more about the "Belle of Amherst." more
