Took the bus, walked two minutes to the bluff overlooking the sea, watched the sunset, had pizza and a beer at the West End, caught the bus back. My idea of a lovely evening. more
It's a beautiful area but erosion has reclaimed the beach to the sea. The dunes are eroding, also and homes are in jeopardy. The sunsets are still magnificient. more
We read that Madaket Beach has world-famous sunsets so that is where we headed to! We found out sunset was at 6:03pm (in Oct) and got there at 5:45pm.
