Was very interested that the coast guard and lifesaving efforts were started in Nantucket due to the stranded, beached ships. Very fun afternoon

I recently visited the museum, which has undergone a major renovation. It's a short drive outside of town in Nantucket, and worth the drive, even if just for the picturesque setting.
