Above all else, please ensure that you use your Dubrovnik card to visit the city walls! The views of the old city and beyond are stunning!

It was so beautiful! I would recommend going early in the morning because it gets hot up there! There are a few stops for drinks/shade along the way. It was amazing to see the views from the wall, and to see the inside of Old Town from that perspective.

you haven't seen dubrovnik entirely until you walk the city walls. You can see hidden corners, interesting sides of the town and it takes only 2-3 hours if you want to go all the way.

The walk around the city walls was jaw-droppingly amazing at every turn.

We walked around the city on four different days and still there was something new around each corner.

You can walk around the whole of the city walls in approx 2.5 hours & it's not to be missed as it's very pretty & the views are lovely! Costs approx £8.

It's a long walk round the walls but the views are good. We took a guided tour wth Dubrovnik Walks but although the guide was very knowledgeable, he was also very long winded, adding about an hour to the predicted 90 minute tour.

On a clear day you can see for miles and soak up the atmosphere. However go during low season before the crowds arrive and arrive before the cruise ships passengers arrive. It is advantageous to get a passenger cruise ship time table so you know when the ships arrive and depart.
