Look for a bar that has happy hours there is one tucked away in a small square I cannot recall the name of the square but you will notice it because it is very popular with locals and tourists, and great to people watch

Fascinating street but hard to see at peak times for the crush

It was very busy, and though the side streets were charismatic the main area was not. Expensive shops or tacky shops selling tat. Some of the local villages were nicer to walk around

Buildings and paving all of beautiful white limestone.Wear shoes with good grip,especially in the wet,as paving is very smooth!

Long walk, with many nationalities, lots of shops, restaurants, bars, market, ending in the wonderful seafront area!

It wasn't too long and there were interesting buildings to see. We walked it quite a few times and each time discovered something new. Bright and spacious and ideal for an evening stroll.

Lots of tourists, lots of touristy shops, a large number of restaurants nearby. Good to view the churches, and of course, go up the wall from here.

To avoid the throngs of cruise ship tourists, we recommend strolling along the Stradun in the early morning or later at night after the crowds retire. There are many restaurants off the Stradun as well so don't despair if it seems crowded. It is a great place to people watch and a good starting point for touring the old town.... More
