unique, beautiful old town.I like that they restored everything from the war of 90's and the city of Dubrovnik joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Many turists, youll never feel alone. Local people very friendly. Many reaustarants and cafe with normal prices. The old harbour is very nice.Panoramic view from the motorway is terrific.

The old town is just lovely with so many places to visit and also to eat and drink! Please note that Croatian portions are plentiful so be warned!

Lots to see, great value. Not to far to walk from the city walls. Once at the top the views are unbelieveable.

We visited both day & night. Lots of lovely restaurants & places to sit out having a drink but the Stradum is quite expensive compared to the back streets however it's no more expensive than UK.

This city is spectacular. I loved the history, and the views, and the eating, and the shopping, and the streets. I didn't even mind all the tourists; of course I was one. There were a lot of people there, but it didn't seem to matter, there were still enough shops and sights to go around. Of all the places we... More

we'd purposely gone 'off peak', traveling end of May, to avoid large crowds but, thanks to 'cruise boats' :-(, this seems to be unavoidable both here and in Kotor! The Old Town lacks some of the feel of getting rat-maze disoriented in Venice (which we enjoy, accidently finding yourself in someone's quiet garden) but there's still plenty of bric-a-brac to... The old town has been completely restored since the war and is lovely to look at. Unfortunately, as part of this makeover, the majority of the residents have been moved out which has left the place devoid of character. There are lots of tourist shops and restaurants to cater to the endless flow of cruise ship passengers. The town is... More

There is a lot to see in the old town, churches, museums, etc. Many of the shops are expensive or simply selling tourist tat. Some good restaurants though.

A truly beautiful town, now fully restored after the Homeland War. Great history, where local people take pride in looking after this gem. Enjoy the place after the day tourists have retreated to their cruise boats, and soak up the atmosphere and culture in peace.

Unique experience with steep narrow passages, old churches and heaps of history. A guided walking tour is a must
