we stayed for a week before a week on the mainland so didnt go off island all week.Lovely walks on some tarmac paths other times just follow the goats, you cant get lost its so small! Go before they reopen the Lafodia hotel.There are so few people left at the end of the day once the ferry has gone its... more

Travelled out to the island last October.We had previously visited the island on an organised excursion from Dubrovnik. 'Elaphiti Islands and Fish Picnic'. This time we took the Jadrolinya ferry from Gruz Harbour.The tickets are bought from the ferry offices just across the road from the ferry departure point. Tickets are very reasonable for a trip that takes approximately 40/50... more

Went to Lopud just befoere the war it was brilliant! restaurbnts superb fish dishes, no vehicles on the Island and a nudist beach! The people were fabulous there ...very friendly and helpful. Will return soon I promise... more
