Visited Lopud as part of 3 island cruise. We went with Adriana cruises & paid approx £16pp incl drinks but excl lunch which i wouldn't recommend as it was fish (not filleted) with salad & not worth extra £10!
If you are looking for a sandy beach, a visit to Lopud is a definite.
Be warned that you may arrive on the other side of the island and would have to walk about 20 minutes uphill to get to the beach. There are "taxis" that can take you across the island.
Also, when you get to the beach, there...

Had the best laugh here as we were on the boat cruise. Beautiful but quite windy on the boat - take a jacket!
Plenty to enjoy here, quiet bars & restaurants, hotels,a Monastery, old fort, and the big sandy beach at Sunj.
There are several different approaches to visit the Elfiti islands. We chose to take the ferry to Lopud after deciding we would want to spend more time than what most tours offered. The ferry is an excellent deal costing only $7 return. Lopud's Sunj Beach is beautiful and quiet. Arrival by golf cart is around $3.50, but the walk is...

Just the right size for a stroll across the islad to Sunj beach. Nice shady cafe with pleasant service. Great views of beach and adriatic. Toilets. Showers. Buggy from Lokud 15 kuna one way.
We got a speed boat out to this island which was great fun. It was a beauiful sunny day. The island was quiet. We walked around and had lunch in a lovely restaurant on the sea front. I had Lobster Pasta which was delicious - unfortunately I can't remember the name of the restaurant. Our time on the island was...

We walked to the beach on the other side of the island. The beach is very pretty but small and already very touristy. The rest of the island is quaint - but I wouldn't want to live there. Lovely to visit, though!
The sunbeds will cost you £6 each even though you will only have an hour there as it's a 20 min walk each way across the island. Although you can get a lift with a golf buggy, not sure of the cost.
