We booked this trip almost 2 weeks in advance, to be prepared and make the most of our short stay in Croatia. However, they cancelled it at short notice at around 7pm the evening before, due to not having enough people. I understand that this was a possibility, and it does state it on the booking, so fair enough.
However, the cancellation policy for customers is 24 hours, so why did the tour company not show us the same respect? By giving us about 13 hours notice we were extremely disappointed, and it was quite late in the evening to find an alternative for the next morning, as by then most were unavailable to book for the next morning.
Therefore I cannot comment on the trip itself but am rating it one star as I do not recommend booking with this company as they clearly have no respect or care for wasting customers' time. They offered us an alternative date which we couldn't do, but would not have accepted anyway as what was to say they wouldn't meet the numbers and cancel again!? Luckily we did find a last minute alternative on a smaller sailing boat, which was great and I feel turned out better than being on a bigger packed boat anyway. I'd recommend doing the same, because this company is not reliable, they should at least give 24 hours notice of cancellation, like they ask of their customers, it's only fair.
