Lovely views over the city, nice to see how the view changes as you go up the floors of the tower. You can even see right to the snow-topped Carpathian mountains! And for only 2 lei. Don't let the depressing music put you off :-)

It is a splendid spot to widen your perspective from an altitude of 200 m. Unaccessible for people with disabilities, unfortunately. Watch out where you walk as stairs can be narrow. Do not let yourself distracted by the rather depressive music played.

This is one of the places where I take all the people that want to see Sibiu from above. It is situated in the "Great Square" and you can see the hole town from there.

The tower of the Council is a 13th historical monument, a true emblem of Sibiu, which is located at the Big Square.
A museum is located here, the fee for the visit being very small.
At the penultimate floor is housed the mechanism of the ancient big clock, which it's still working.

Don't woryy about the steps, its easy. Tremendous view of the whole town. Very interesting to see the clockworks that drives the big clockfaces on all 4 sides of the tower.
