I have been to Balea Lake more than once and will never get enough of it. The lake is situated on the road called Transfagarasan (DN7C), that takes you from Pitesti to Sibiu. Balea Lac is gorgeous and is a must see if you are traveling through this part of Romania. It's right off the main road that runs between Brasov and Sibiu.
