Whether it is a spice or vegetable- you can get anything and everything for this place. A haven for people like me who want exotic veggies and fruits that one cannot find in the everyday ordinary markets!

One thing that would turn many visitors away from this place is the dirt and filth the market sports. If given just a little bit of attention this place can be turned into something like the Spice Bazaar of Istanbul. It is situated in the neglected locality of Saddar, to get there you'll have to brave a big amount of... More

Karachi's Empress Market built during the British Occupation is still a regal old structure, add to this the bustle of the bazar that stocks everything from groceries, to fresh produce (vegetables, a meat market, a fish market, a poultyr section, and even a lane with pet shops. You can even go to the dry fruit market and have oil extracted... More

This Victorian era covered marketplace is worth looking around for some colourful photos. The produce available is fresh and cheaper than in most residential localities. Situated in the heart of the city, the best time to go is early in the morning before rush-hour traffic starts.

The real attractions for me are the roadside auctions and the colorful shops, which make very good photography subjects. As for those looking to shop from this place, this is a... More
