Not easy to find, but well worth the search. Provides a good overview and education for people from other countries. Loved the shop, and bought two lovely handwoven scarves for my daughters.

Got the feeling this place was run by people dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of this beautiful area. Interesting information on wedding traditions. If you are in that part of town, go in for half an hour is all you should need
a very well preserved museum, with enough history to tell and let you know about the different ethnias in Laos. a very nice french cafe with its specialities.

a great little museum with good displays of tribal costumes and artifacts. Knowledgeable guides, good shop selling hand made items with provenanceand a cafe with home made cakes.
