Definitely the nicest wat in town, perhaps the one historical site that is a must-see in Luang Prabang.

Huge pagoda with exotic paintings and decorations. Nice location also. It is the biggest and most impressive pagoda I have visited in Laos. I admire the huge and old mulberry in the yard as well.

Even if you are all 'templed out' please make time to go to this temple. The mosaics are very interesting and the architecture is quite different to any others as it is a distinct Luang prabang style. with its long tradition, this temple is , as Laotians are, calm with their art and architecture, with softer colors than Thai's.It deserved, as many Lao's temples to be visited.

This temple is really a sight to behold. During our tour of southeast Asia we saw dozens of temples. This one gleamed and stands out in my mind. Well worth a visit.
