Beatiful view of Luang Prabang town and Mekong River. A bit of a hike up but not too difficult for anyone with average fitness. You can watch the sunset then walk down to the start of the night markets.

Worth the sweaty walk to the top, Luang Prabang is nice while walking around it but even more beautiful from the top of Mount Phousi

A must do for the views, even if cloudy. Try going up from the Night Market area. Be sure to take a different way down as lots of Budha statues and sights down the other side.

Climbed up one side of the hill and down the other side. Great 360 views from atop. Popular spot to watch the sunset

It's worth climbing up the stairs, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the city of Luang Prabang. Best to go in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the worst heat. Sunset views are highly recommended.

Amazing view. Buy two birds and release them and you will live long and prosper! Be sure to be in good shape. There are 320 steps up and you cannot ride up. You must walk up. Worth the trip up!

Very nice sunset from the top of Phousi Hill. Anyway, it's a very small place where so many people want to go there. A little bit overloaded. Very nice views. Recommended to climb down by the back side to enjoy the river views as well.

We went there at 5 PM and climb up from the entrance opposite side of the national museum. We have 2 y/o and 5 y/o but they could climb. It took about 15 min. The view from the top is awesome and it's worth to climb. But you must have anti-mosquito spray. Especially evening.
