This falls are worth the drive out and are visually stunning even in the dry season.

If you are in Luang Prabang, this waterfall is a must-see/do. It was one of the highlights of Laos. I went in May 2012. Even though it was still dry season the waterfalls were amazing. They cascaded into pools of blue-green water. There was a big rope swing at one of the pools. Really fun. Be careful when walking on... More

Beautiful milky, aqua blue pools like something out of a fairytale! The water freezzing but refreshing once you get used to it. What when you're swimming as there are large submerged rocks in the pools where my partner lost his toenail after painfully swimming into it!

We arrived by rickshaw along with other tourists we met on the street (a drive of approximately 20 km) Do not miss the bear conservation center at the entrance to the park. You can bathe in cold and refreshing waterץ

Best secret is to go early, before the crowds come, and to have the waterfalls to yourself. Refreshing after the intense heat. A nice side benefit, is viewing the moon bears lazing in their hammocks, on the way to falls.

This was definately one of the most amazing natural sights in Luang Prabang. We caught a tuk tuk (200,000 k) it takes about 40 minutes to get there. The sun bear sanctuary is great the beats are kept in great conditions ( no cages, just a big open enclosure) and are so close! The swimming pools are freezing but refreshing... More

These are a must see, some of the most beautiful waterfalls I've seen, the water is amazing and the swing fun, do it!

A very pleasant area - well managed - so likely to retain its attractive character.

Almost didn't make it here, but so glad that we did. We ended up renting a motor bike for the day after weighing out the risks. It was a nice, smooth and safe ride up the mountain to the falls. The scenery was really great to see at your own pace, except for this military gathering of locals learning how... More

Not far out of town, a nice park, I sure the waterfall would be spectacular in the wet season, we were there at the end of the dry season and it was still a great place to visit with plenty of water going over the various levels of the waterfalls.
