Staying overnight at the Elephant Village was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Lao. I particularly like the way the operators cared for these amazing creatures knowing they had been rescued from far worst situations. Mine was one of 5 bags broken into on the 4/11/09 while being held at the Tiger Trails office in Luang Prabang. The bags had small amounts of cash and mobile phones stolen.
