The only true western beach in Jeddah. Great place to get away from all the craziness we have to put up with. Nice to be around normal people!
So, yesterday my husband and our friend went to Silver Sands for a relaxing day at the beach. We arrived late, at about 1pm and it was very busy. Looking around we saw no order to the beach, it seemed chaotic, like people had moved sun-loungers around, etc. so we assumed that we could grab a lounger and find a... More
After travelling 45 minutes from North Jeddah we found this place discreetly hidden away. We drove in and I have to say the entrance and walk to the beach leave A LOT to be desired. Once inside the beach is very clean, sandy and water clear. We went down with 2 young children and had a great day out. Little... More
We were guests here, but it is the largest and cleanest private beach that I have been to in Jeddah. I hear it costs 10,000 SR per year, for unlimited family visits. It has coral reefs that you can see when you stand on the shore! There are also public restrooms and a mini-bar/cafe
But not great... The price has gone up to 100 SAR per adult during the week from 50 SAR. My 2 year old and 4 month old were 50 SAR each. There was no running water in the restrooms or outdoor shower area. We were literally the only people on the beach and one of the employees still ushered us... More
I have not been on the weekends...heard you can't even get in. Food is okay, if you crave french fries, may as well get a burger or something else to go with it, Just fries seemed kinda pricey. There is an admission fee.
In jeddah a wester space in a calm and relaxing beach. Family atmosphere and standard services. Umbrellas and chairs available in a clean beach. No towel available. Nice place to visit- perfect for families in Jeddah
The beach is very clean. There are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. The service at the Cafe is excellent, you can order your drink/food from your sun lounger and it is delivered to you. The toilets and showers are basic but are kept clean. I come to this beach everytime I am in Jeddah and have no complaints.
A lovely clean beach for expats, easy to forget you are in Jeddah. Peaceful and quiet during the week. Sea sometimes prone to jellyfish. Nice swim out to the little island, not much to see underwater but it is worth a snorkel round the island as there are some fish around. Restaurant disappointing not much on offer.
