Its an impressive public square, second only in size to Tienenman Square in China. Entire families gather in the late afternoon to enjoy the cooler air and have picnics. As the sun goes down and the lights go on, it is an enchanting place.

Relax atmosphere. Candy stores all over the place which sell delicious nougat.
You need time to wander to the temples, go shopping at the covered market, visit the palace of 40 columns across the road. Excellent in the morning or in the evening.

A very beautiful during daytime and incredibly beautiful in the evening. Iranian families come here almost every evening to sit and chat with each other and at the same time to eat. Kids are having fun while adults socialize. Here is very relaxed atmosphere. I liked to come here in the evenings to enjoy the illumination of mosques and fountain.
