The Abra taxis can be taken from the banks of either Bur Dubai or Deira. It is an inexpensive medium of transport. These are the banks where Dubai had begun its destiny to match or in some cases exceed the best in the world.

It costs 1D to cross the water. It's a nice little stroll up to the abra stop from the metro station. Something that you have to do if you fancy a visit to the old part of Dubai. You will be sat on a boat with a lot of Indians going to/from work.
