Souk Madinat is interconnected by waterways with Jumeirah, Mina al Salaam hotel and villas (Jumeirah Group) . It has numerous restaurants, shops and bars. Spectacular mall with beautiful craftsmanship... Plenty of shop and dine in restaurants... Lake Side restaurants have great view of burj Al Arab... Dhow ride, especially in the evenings is very romantic... Highly recommended Do not forget to take your camera along!

Highly recommend it to all tourists going to Dubai! Lots of places to eat and drink!

A really nice selection of shopping places, however, not the cheapest place if you are going for usual souvenires. Good for restaurants - wide selection, and great food. Nice views from the Souk, worth a visit.

The souk had the opportunity to take a dhow ride around the resort property which was lovely in itself and provided great views of Burj Al-Arab. The little stores were fun to wander in...rather upscale touristy places, but nice to look around. Made for a lovely couple hours on a warm afternoon.

I expected a labyrinth of corners and alleys outside, however nothing was open outdoors, probably because of the heat. Unlike a "real" souk, here noone is trying to sell you something you don't want. A good place to spend your time, go to eat or take a cup op coffee. Air conditioning indoors, but also possibility to spend time outdoors.
