Definately go to the creek and the old, spice and gold souk if you want to see a little glimpse into the past and the real hussle and busstle of real dubai.

Please don't go alone, cz the time spent with your loved one shall be forever cherished in times to come. The best walk way to stroll with the creek front in the evening. Also, a boat ride on the creek is worth every dime. It just cost 2 Dhs. Lot of dinning options are available along the creek and you... More

Could stand or sit and watch the boast going back and forth all day. Really vibrant and the cheap and easy way to hop between the souks

Walk along in the late afternoon. ¡Not in the middle of the day, it is too hot!

Try dhow cruise, it was about 140 Dhs per person, including decent dinner :) I assume price is higher than service. Anyway it is "must-see" sight of Dubai, so Creek is nice to see

A number of interesting tourist places boarder the Creek. Would suggest taking the Metro to Al Ghubaibu station which is at one end of the Creek, and then walking along visiting the various attractions and Souks before taking a Dhow across the Creek (ferry cost about 20p), and rejoining the Metro.

My family paid 120 AED for an hour's trip on the creek in our own private boat. We got to see a lot, and particularly impressing we found the ships going to Iran with a lot of cargo. We went in late afternoon, when the temperatur was perfect and the creek busy of people going home from work. It was... More

Dubai Creek is full of Dhows that ply their trade across the Gulf and Indian Ocean. Get an Abra across the Creek from the Bur Dubai Souk to the Deira side and then take a walk along the Dhow Wharfage area and see closeup what gets traded to and from Dubai on these traditional vessles. Recommended for a unusual perspective... More
