The Gold Soul is amazing just for she sheer size of it. Stores upon stores offering bracelets, necklaces, pins, broaches, etc. However, do not expect a "bargain." Total rip off, they did not allow me to smell the saffron so shame on me for not seeing that as the first sign of a rip off. the quality of hte safron (i bought iranian and spanish) is horrible. Dubai was our last stop before returning to Perth on our world trip mid june 2008. 4 days 3 nights trully were not enough to unravel Dubai. A week would be just perfect and spend a day at the gold souk (you'll need it!!!). If i was going to give advice to anyone it would be to stick to simple jewellery. I had a ring designed and made by Mashoom Jewellers in the Gold Souk and the diamonds fell out twice.
