Kelsey has some nice artifacts that are displayed in a traditional way. There's no cutting edge curation here, but it's a pleasant way to kill an hour.
This museum has recently been renovated and greatly enlarged. The docents give wonderful tours.
Finds from the university excavations in the Levant (Egypt, Israel, etc) mainly from the 1st half of the 20 century. Nice exhibition, not too big (nor too small). An amazing amount of material in a small place. The new addition really improves it. Not so overwhelming as a large museum
from the artifacts to the mummies just a really cool place to check out.
Another gem at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor campus, you walk through an older Richardsonian granite building to a modern addition (Upjohn Exhibit Wing) in the back with an incredible array of ancient artifacts.
