As we were visiting the area in April, the only Osmose option open to us was #3 tour. Three of us made the journey. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to a canal landing about 35 minutes from town where we boarded a small travel boat typical of the area. We started down this long causeway toward... More

It was the wrong time of the year weatherwise and water level wise as it limited our opportunity to get to the Bird Sanctuary but the experience was still an amazing day. We saw "painted storks" plus literally dozens of other birds, we met wonderful "lake people", had a great lunch prepared by the "ladies" and watched and participated in... More

Despite the 45 minute drive, this small temple is very worth seeing due to both the unique Color and good preservation of carving details. Nearby on the main road are rice fields, and a villiage that makes palm sugar candies, both nice bonus sights.

Immediately at pick up from my hotel I was impressed with Vutha, our guide for the day. He was a wealth of knowledge, passionate about his role, spoke english very well and was appropriately cheeky. I had done the quad bike tour only days prior and as an extra we went to the village on stilts so i thouht maybe... More

First let's confess that we went at totally the wrong time (very hot, lowest water level) and that we're not actually very interested in birds. It was still amazing. Prek Toal is an amazing floating village with no other tourists to be found when we visited. People were just getting on with their everday lives as we floated by. Children... More

This trip was really worthwhile. Osmose was very flexible so that we were able to go there on a day trip and return by public boat the next day. Everything was done for us. We stayed in the floating village homestay. The home owner was shy but lovely.

We spent a day with Osmose on Tonle Sap lake, visiting the floating village and the bird sanctuary. My two daughters, aged 8 and 10 thoroughly enjoyed the trip that was both educatonal and fascinating. I would strongly recommned anyone visiting the amazing Siem Reap to add this day into their itinary. it was a truly wonderful experience. Thank you... More
