Peace of Ankor Tours was listed in my guidebook as a specialist in photo tours. Their website describes their tours as "Photo Discovery Tours" but the tour I went on was not a photography tour at all. The other 4 people on the tour were not photographers and the tour leader didn't offer any particular advice on photography. Since I... More

This was tour was not something that occured to me to organize before travelling, but going on a photographic course after seeing such amazing architecture and construction seemed a natural choice. I found Peace of Angkor after looking at the available options around Siem Reap. I chose to an all day trip, but half day options are available. I was... More

A very nice day on the Tonle Sap lake and in the Prek Toal wildlife reserve. Nice to see a Grey Headed Fish Eagle up close. More

We booked a remote temples private tour out of Siem Reap: Banteay Chhmar, Preah Vihear, Preah Khan, Kor Ker, Beng Mealea. We booked a 5 day 4 night excursion. Den was easy to deal with by email and made some suggestions. Our guide was Ta (Chhor Elit) who was a wonderful caretaker. The only negative was losing him for 1.5... More

I am very happy that you enjoyed your adventure in Remote Cambodia. Travel in remote Cambodia means accommodation can be very basic; but this is all part of the experience. The remote nature of the tour meant that it was too much of a risk to continue with the Land cruiser which had a minor problem which could not be... More

The client asked for a photo tour with myself or professional photo instructor; changed his mind on the grounds that it was too expensive. We ran the tour at reduced cost with a general tour guide, who has successfully guided many photographers. He expressed satisfaction to the guide and gave a generous tip to our guide and now complains he... More

We joined the Beng Mealea and Kompong Khleang Lake tour on 29th Aug 2011. I tried emailing them 2 days before I was to reach Siam Reap but didn't get any reply. However since my hotel was on the same street as their office and I couldn't find other tours with the combination of both Beng Mealea and Kompong Khleang,... More

Ta knew of his places, the history and some spectacular vantage points (especially if you are a shutterbug). I was on a solo trip with a comfortable car and the entire trip went off beautifully well. Very well organized!! Thank You Peace of Angkor :) More

We had an amazing time and Dave, Den, and Ta exceeded all of their commitments. This was a great experience and we were allowed to personalize it each step of the way to what our interests were. Both days were filled with little surprises like going to the bakery factory before sunrise and the stores opening, seeing palm sugar treats... More

Asked for and got an individually-arranged trip to Koh Ker and Beng Mealea. Could have done a version of this by hiring a driver from the hotel, but would have seen comparatively little and missed so much: as the guide books are extremely limited, you need to go with someone who knows what there is and where to see it,...
