A great way to get an inside look at true Cambodian life, quietly exploring remote areas on our well trained horses. Suitable for all ages. Open sunrise to sunset. Also offering cart rides through the local villages in Siem Reap, Angkor. Please book directly with us to avoid disappointment. « less

Definitely worth the time and money. You could also do the quad adventure, though its a much more immersive adventure to be horseback instead of riding an obnoxious motorized vehicle, in my opinion. I will say, that the two hour horseback ride is more than enough. The four hour trip just becomes repetitive and uncomfortable. More

The whole family had a great time, only thing was my horse kept wanting to go really fast so I had to keep a tight hold on the reins as I'm very inexperienced on a horse. But it was a fun time and they let my wife go off on her own really fast, which she loved, and helped the... More

We went in the afternoon and managed to catch the sunset as we were riding - it was totally spectacular. It's an unspeakably gorgeous setting and the horses are friendly enough for a beginner (I'd never ridden before). I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, probably in the top 5 best things I've ever done while... More

My sister and I love horses. As this was her first time out of the US, I wanted to show her more than just a tourist view of a foreign country. This ride proved to be the perfect choice to spend time riding together and seeing a little more of how the locals truly live. We opted for the four... More

One just feel like hey are a part of siem reap if you get to see the villages on horseback. It's so quaint and peaceful and the villagers are so friendly. Book early, especially during the high season as you might be disappointed. More

After visiting the Angkor temples from sunrise to sunset, we were totally exhausted and decided to do something different on the second day. So we decided to go for a horse riding since I've read some good reviews about Happy Ranch horse farm. Making appointment was easy. Upon arrival we were asked to fill up a form with personal details,... More

We found out about the Happy Ranch horse farm through the Cambodia rough guide. Having ridden horses all my life I have found past experiences of trekking to be hit or miss- too often the horses follow one after the other barely faster than a walk. Being a vet I also worry supporting businesses where animal welfare comes second. With... More

After reading al the great reviews of the ranch I decided to use their services to have a break from the temples. I called a day earlier and arranged a two hour ride from 9am directly with the owner. However, when I arrived they were surprised to see me - my booking got lost within 15 hours. Horse not ready... More

This was our second visit to Siem Reap so we opted out of some of the larger temples to do different things (biking, cooking schools) and booked the Happy Ranch Horse Farm well in advance. Communication was great and we were picked up at our hotel for the short tuk-tuk trip out to the farm. The ride was extraordinary--we did... More
