I don´t like museums and even less boats. But this museums is really nice! It`s located at the seaside and worth a visit.
It`s the real model of the ship which first did the Strait of Magallan and you can see how they lived and worked. Unimaginable!
You can also lay down in a hammock like the sailors did lower...

Here is an authentic replica of a 500 year old ship. The original was in Magellan's group of 5 and it was the only one that completed the 3 year trip around the world. To look at it, so small, I would not have taken a ride in it across Lake Mead let alone the oceans of the world.

If you are in Punta Arenas do not miss the chance to visit this Museum. It is the exact replica of the first ship ever to circumnavigate the globe, and is organized as an amazing expewrience that takes your breath oof!
