It's an interesting enough place in parts and when it was new it would have looked great - but it is far from new and some of the exhibits look quite tattered. we arrived mid afternoon and thought the evening would add another dimension but for the most part the lighting is poor and we got the feeling they didn't... more

We went in august 2009 to Window of the World. Entering Shenzen. The thermometre in the car already gave us 41ºC and truly it was too hot. We entered the park after lunch about 4 o'clock and we were surprised by how nice the park was and how clean and well kept. There are places to buy icecream and drinks... more

This place may sound cheesy, but it's great - many of the minitures are very realistic (though some, like mini-Manhatten, aren't). Seeing replicas of well known sites like the Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal was nice, but the biggest thrill was discovering amazing sites I had never heard of before, like a Petra-like (I imagine) rock-cut temple in India... more

We live in Hong Kong and after the queues at Disney and Ocean Park we thought we would try something a little different so we spent the weekend at the Inter Continental Hotel and visted Windows of the World. It was fantastic fun!! My 4 year old loved seeing all the dinosaurs, going on all the rides (bob sled, water... more

I had read mixed reviews about this place here on trip advisor so I wasn't so sure what to expect but I enjoyed myself quite alot! There's so much to see and do at this place, we got there at around 12 and left around 7. Admittedly some or alot of the miniturised buildings are starting to look run down... more

My husband & I visited this place during end Dec 2008. And we arrived the location at 5.30pm and at the cashier counter, there was a big BANNER mentioned..slashed of price to RMB 100 per adult from 7.30pm..original price was RMB 170 per adult. For what you know, THERE WERE NO LIGHTS when you are inside the premise at ALL!... more

This park is the Shenzhen version of Epcot center in Orlando Florida. It contains small replicas of famous places in the world IE: The Roman Coloseum and Eifell Tower. It has only a few rides to speak of, a water ride and somekind of chute coaster. They were both a kick to ride. They have ways to travel around the... more

I went to all of these places at the Window of the World... including... yes... the Alps, and in door skiing and snowboarding extravanganza. I'm telling you, the fun here can be hours! Just dont eat here...lest you... more

I really enjoyed seeing all the famous landmarks I have travelled to in just a few hours and being inspired by seeing more I would like to visit for real. WIndows of the World was really good. 120 RMB to enter and then we paid another 30 for a monorail ride and a ride on the 'train' around the park.... more
