We were in Wuxi on business, and stopped by to see the statue. The setting is very nice, with the Buddha built into the side of a large hill overlooking the lake. There is a massive set of terraces leading up to the statue itself, with fountains, prayer wheels, temples, etc. The grounds are so large that this was one... more
