Great place to visit on a nice day. Larger than Tianmen, if one can imagine that.

A large public area surrounded by good restaurants, this square has an attractive column at its centre, a magnificent view of the Bo Hai, at all the fresh air you thought you'd never find in a big city.

Very easy to get around, a lot to see. Has a lot of culture and history here. Very nice place to visit.

This is a famous landmark and biggest square in Asia. Perfect for morning walks, kite flying and lovely sunsets. Go there during fall as they'll light-up most of the trees and hold grandest firework display every Chinese New Year.

This is the largest square in Asia and it's worth walking around and taking a few photos and it's also very close to the sea front. No western style restaurants and the Chinese ones are all expensive. The only cafe nearby is very expensive and the service is awful (I 55).

This is the largest public square in China. Tons to see. Huge statue of an open book you can climb on. Situated on the water, the views are great. Upscale restaurants and hotels nearby. At night, you can purchase a lantern and send it into the sky.

Very good place do visit! i think it is better to visit in a suny day , no snow, and the square is very good to take pictures all around.

its easy to get there and their view is nice. i really enjoyed taking photos at there. but i-55 coffee shop at xinghai sqaure didnt good.. i dont want to recommend u that store.
